This is another view from the lawn of Jordan Pond. Behind these chairs is a restaurant and outdoor picnic area. When the park was first established, there was a farmhouse here. The owner would offer picnic lunches to travelers. The picnic area still exists, but the old farmhouse was destroyed by a fire. It has been replaced by this very nice restaurant. My wife and I ate on the lawn and had tea and hot popovers. The popovers are wonderful!

on November 1, 2009I really love this shot Jeff - this is a spectacular view of the Bubbles and I love the chairs. I am glad to know that the tea house is in business well into the fall. The popovers are the best I have ever had!
